Todd Gill, CSI is a senior video editor and finishing colorist who lives and works in Little Rock, Arkansas. For over seventeen years he has worked professionally with over one hundred national, regional and local TV commercial campaigns, documentaries, films, television pilots and corporate videos.
While in high school, Todd enjoyed being behind the camera and enjoyed, even more, spending countless hours in the darkroom developing and printing black and white photos. In 2001, Todd graduated from University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a B.A. degree in film production with an emphasis in post-production and a minor in studio art. That same year, he was hired at Dempsey Film Group. During the next 10 years, Todd worked his way up from duplication technician to the senior video editor. He edited projects for high profile clients such as Terminix International, Subway, Braum’s, Ranger Boats, Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation and JG Wentworth.
At Dempsey Film Group, Todd discovered a love for the art of color grading and began studying and honing his skills as a colorist. He learned from and assisted fellow colorists as well as learning online. From that moment he saw things differently. He viewed film and TV and everyday life with a new eye.
In 2012, Todd became a freelance artist to fulfill his passions for editing, finishing, and color grading film and video. Since then Todd has edited and graded countless National to local TV campaigns, some of which have earned awards at the local and regional levels of the American Advertising Federation.  He recently graded “Butch: Legend of Langston” a documentary about a charismatic Langston University alumnus. This film recently won best of Oklahoma Shorts at the Dead Center Film Festival and is currently screening at other festivals across the United States.
